Professional teeth whitening does not damage the enamel. It works by allowing the ingredients to penetrate through the enamel and dentine, brightening teeth from within. Research shows no significant long-term effects with professional whitening treatments using 10% or 16% carbamide peroxide or 6% hydrogen peroxide.

Boutique whitening uses custom trays to apply the whitening formula to your teeth, similar to Enlighten. It offers a variety of treatments for flexibility, including a 6% hydrogen peroxide gel that works in as little as 20 minutes during the day. Boutique also provides two nighttime options with different strengths to accommodate sensitive teeth.

Enlighten whitening involves applying the whitening gel to your custom trays, which you wear every night for two weeks. This allows the formula to penetrate and brighten your teeth from within. The process is completed with an in-office booster session, achieving the celebrated B1 shade.

The teeth whitening process at Stella Dental begins with a free consultation where we explore the different whitening options available to you. Next, your dentist will assess your oral health and take a digital scan of your teeth, which will be used to create custom whitening trays. Once you receive your personalised trays, you will use them at home. For patients using the Enlighten system, after 14 days of at-home whitening, you'll return to our practice for an in-office booster to achieve the desired B1 shade of white.
